Handwoven Patched Pants
These are the pants people ask about. A Res Ipsa best-seller, each pair is handmade from our own handwoven cotton, crafted over the course of days in our Marrakech atelier. They're soft, breathable, and broken-in from the start — one of the most comfortable styles we make.
The patchwork detailing is done by hand using vintage and scrap fabrics, drawing from the American tradition of visible mending and repair. The look is inspired by the way workwear used to age: patched up, not thrown out.
This pant is made slowly, the way it should be. Our weavers produce only a few meters of fabric each day. The result is a garment that feels lived-in from the first wear and lasts for years after.
